River Cubatao: flows into
the Bahia of Babitonga. The Caminho dos Principes
that begins in the largest city of Santa Catarina,
Joinville that began its history with the Portuguese
royal family accomplishing the marriage of the Prince
of Joinville with the Princesa Francisca Carolina,
sister of Don. Pedro II. The Germanic settlers transformed
the city in the largest industrial area in Santa Catarina.
In spite of the industrial force, the city is charming,
well landscaped, known as the "City of the Flowers"
and has the only School of Bolshevik out of Russia.
From there we will take the route through progressive
cities like Jaraguá do Sul, São Bento
do Sul, Corupa, Campo Alegre and River Negrinho. They
are typically German cities, with big wooden houses,
cobled streets, always very clean. There is a visible
Germanic culture also in Corupa, where dozens of waterfalls
spring from the hillsides mapped by ecological trails.
This is the access route to River Iguaçu.
